a poem, a photo, a painting
captures a moment
drawing attention to a detail
or a viewpoint
or just a moment in time
sharing a vision of the world

To Have a Friend
To have a friend,
To be a friend.
Friendship is a two way street,
A give and take.
We get and give,
The two are intertwined.
In having a friend,
I in turn am a friend.
Not selfless,
But mutual benefit.
To be a friend.
Friendship is a two way street,
A give and take.
We get and give,
The two are intertwined.
In having a friend,
I in turn am a friend.
Not selfless,
But mutual benefit.
Clutter in the House
Clutter in the house
I should straighten it
Looks messy
Makes things hard to find
So much work to straighten
I think I'll do it later
I should straighten it
Looks messy
Makes things hard to find
So much work to straighten
I think I'll do it later
Laundry
laundry
a chore
must have clean clothes
not a pleasure
but must be done
so we smell and look clean
a chore
must have clean clothes
not a pleasure
but must be done
so we smell and look clean
